Introducing Boone Brent!!
I want to begin this by saying we are COMPLETELY and utterly overwhelmed with the amount of messages, prayers, and love we’ve received from all over the world. I never knew this community that we’ve become a part of over time (shout-out to the mamas and papas allllll over!!) would be so uplifting and just so kind. I seriously cried reading all of the comments and DMs on my social pages, and I am so grateful for it all. Tim, Leni, and I also couldn’t be more overwhelmed with love or pride for our newest member: BOONE IAN JAMES BRENT!
Boone was born in the afternoon on August 22nd on National Rainbow Baby Day…excuse me while I cry and praise God because he is SO SO GOOD (for those that don’t know, a “rainbow baby” is a child born after a miscarriage or passing away of an infant. For parents, these babies are “the rainbow after the storm”). After a pretty intense labor due to getting an epidural that didn’t work all the way–but more on that later!! He came into the world weighing in at 7 lbs, 5 oz. We chose his middle names for both of our fathers: men who mean the entire world to us. Knowing that those names are wrapped up in one sweet little boy’s is so special to us!! It took us foreverrrrr to decide on his first name, but we knew the middle names pretty much from the jump.
Boone is literally so precious, and seeing Leni with him makes me want to die of happiness. I mean, seriously: how are we THIS blessed?! He’s an incredibly good eater, sleeper, and is such a cuddle fiend–he loooooves being held, which is the total opposite of how Leni was. I’ll share more about him and our fam soon–but for right now, we’re going to enjoy having this sweet and snuggly little boy to love on and get to know as we begin this incredible journey as a family of four.

Sooooo incredibly happy for your entire family! Sorry to read that your epidural wasn’t completely successful (insert hand on face emoji)….that stinks! But you are sooo strong and hung in there for that little babe! Love watching you and your family grow. You have been an inspiration for me, personally, to explore the outdoors more with my hubby…and I thank you for that. Hopefully one day our paths will cross and I can say ‘hello’. Looking forward to the many updates on your little family!

Eeeek he is just the sweetest. You are sooo blessed. I know the feeling. How can this even be real life? Seeing all your Boone updates makes me want to have a third baby in the WORST way. My husband says no way- I need help convincing him. I need me some newborn smells!!!!

Congratulations on your beautiful family and his name is so adorable my baby girl that was born July 17, 2019 I already new her middle name. I gave her 2 names “Bell” for my mother in laws middle name shorten for Annabell and the second one “Lynn” from my wonder adopted mother Melody Rossi who took me in when I needed a mother in my life. So I decided to name my doughter Lily Bell Lynn Corona. I announce the name to my mom and was happy, funny she told me when she was a young girl in camp the name Lily was her nickname. Everything came together nicely I am so proud of my daughter perfect name came about. Congratulations again in your new baby boy:)

Congrats Eva! I was wondering when you would have the precious little guy! I found out couple months ago were expecting our 2nd bundle of joy and we currently have a little boy that’s fixing to turn 3. We had a struggle with getting pregnant with him, I just never thought we would be able to have anymore. Once again congrats! Can’t wait for more updates!

Love the name! I seriously couldn’t wait to see what you decided on! I have a Crockett that’s 2 months old, so of course I thought Boone was pretty cool!
We struggled with infertility as well. Married for 6 years when we adopted our perfect daughter who just turned 2. Then I finally got pregnant with zero complications.
