We’re FULLY into hunting season and I couldn’t be more excited to be back on the hunt. A few weeks ago, I kicked off a new blog series I’m calling ‘Unpacked’ where I’m sharing details on my go-to gear in aaaaalll my different bags and activities that I swear by. I’ve gotten SO many questions about my bow set up and it’s something I LOVE chatting about, so I’m sharing all the details with you today in my second edition of my Eva Unpacked series!
Partnering with Bowtech 12 years ago (LITERALLY TWELVE YEARS!! HOW?!) was one of *the* biggest blessings and achievements of my career. Not only have I been in love with each generation of bow that we’ve produced, but they truly keep getting better and better.
My Eva Gen3 bow is in the color Forest and I have the right-handed 60lbs limbs with a 25.5 inch draw length. My bow comes in 40, 50, and 60lb limbs, lefty and righty bows, AND in a few different color options, so whatever your preference, Bowtech has you covered!
I SWEAR by my Black Gold Dual Trac Sight. It’s an adjustable sight on my bow that has made hunting SO much more enjoyable because it’s so adjustable to whatever distance you’re shooting from.
I use the Gold Tip AirStrike Arrows. I’ve been using these in my practice for this hunting season and am a big fan! These carbon arrows are SUPER lightweight. I’m excited to use them this season!!
My local archery shop, First Flight Archery, recommended the brand G5 for the best broadheads to use, so I took their recommendation and am trying these babies out! Fingers crossed they work like and dream and we get something this week in Montana! Pro tip: You can find a bunch of G5 Broadhead options at your nearest Cabelas!!
I use the Tightspot Rise Arrow Quiver! I’d HIGHLY recommend this brand. This quiver has never failed me! It’s aluminum AND woven carbon fiber which makes the quiver super lightweight and incredibly durable. Tightspot has designed their quiver to be quick and quiet to remove as well which I love.
Don’t hate me!! But my release was a limited edition from TruFire in collaboration with me. Unfortunately, it’s not available any longer, bbbbbuuuutttt I might have something in the works to bring them back. I’ll keep you posted. 😉
I love my Ripcord Drop Away Rest. This can seem like such an underrated part of a bow set up, trust me when I say: this is not a piece of equipment you want to skimp on!! I have always loved my Ripcord MAX IMS rest.
I use a couple different accessories on my bow that are worth noting. On my bow, I have the 6 inch 2024 Bowtech CenterMass Stabilizer and the 6 inch 2024 Bowtech CenterMass Universal Back Bar Mount. This pairing is 🤌🏼🤌🏼. Pure gold.
I hope this was helpful for you as we head into the 2024 hunting season! Good luck out there!!
