With summer coming to an end and the new fall season kicking off, it’s got me reminiscing alllllllll of the cherished memories our family made this summer. One of our *absolute FAVORITE* parts of (and where a good chunk of our favorite moments came from)this past summer was time spent on the lake in our pontoon boat. 

Boating is something that truly surprised me in how quickly I fell in love with it. Our REGENCY boat from Bass Pro Shops is a DREAM and makes lake days SO easy for our family, from the overall stability of the boat, to the comfy design of it, even to the ease of use of their custom trailers – safe to say, our family is SOLD on being a boat family. 

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I’m a BIG outdoorswoman, and while I do love all-things outdoors, I’m MUCH more comfortable in the woods, on a hunt, or with my animals. Boating was very new to me as of this past year and I wasn’t going to settle for a boat I felt uneasy in. REGENCY went aboooooove and beyond in putting my heart at ease with how thoughtfully their boats are designed and how stable they feel. Something I really appreciated about their boats is that every boat rides on not two, but THREE 26” in diameter pontoon logs. This provides EXTRA stability and flotation.

The Comfiness

This boat is seriously the most comfortable thing. I couldn’t imagine spending hours out on the lake in a boat that wasn’t as comfortable as my living room. I’ve caught Leni AND Boone snoozing on the boat at different points throughout the summer. Stow More Seating System

Boats don’t have endless space, but it seriously feels like ours does with how much storage REGENCY tucks away all throughout the boat. Every seat has a storage system built within to ensure maximum additional storage. Being a mom means needing to have alllll the things on hand in any given moment. I love that there is ample room to tuck away all of my extra things without making the boat feel cluttered or risking anything blowing away! And did I mention the boat has arm rests literally everywhere? REGENCY somehow perfected their seating to be the most comfortable, effective, and sleek without feeling cluttered or overwhelming.

Custom Trailer

Out of all the features I love about our boat (minus the comfiness because you know I’ll always choose comfort, whether clothing or other, above all), the custom trailer for our boat has been the thing to MAKE our experience. If Tim and I owned a boat that was *perfect* but had an awful towing system, we probably would drop it in once and then be tired of it. With our REGENCY boat, the custom-made trailer makes dropping the boat in and loading it up again a piece of cake. 

Alllll the Amenities

Our boat is decked out in amenities that make lake days that much better. There are a bazillion cup holders all over the boat, a pop up table that makes hosting and meals feel so easy, speakers throughout the entire boat, aaaand the perfect amount of shade from the fold-out awning. REGENCY has seriously thought of it all. The cup holders help us remember to stay hydrated while in the sun, the awning helps get all of us a little added sun protection, and the speakers and the pop up table make the boat feel like a home on the water. We’re completely sold on our boat and would highly recommend becoming a boating family if you aren’t already.
