Super Bowl Sunday is coming up and whether you’re a die-hard football fan or are “just there for the snacks” like me, you’re going to love my top 4 protein-packed game day recipes! Anything that involves grilling, yummy food and a half-time show, I’m hereeeeeee for it. Keep scrolling for the juicy details.
Obviously, my popular (some would say legendary) wild game poppers had to top the list! Every time I make these, they are a BIG HIT. Wild game, bacon, herb and garlic cream cheese, jalapeños…need I say more?! I typically use elk, but you can use whatever meat you have available to you. The key to this recipe is to marinate the meat for at least two hours (I marinate overnight) and to grill them (I use my Traeger).

When I think of game day food, chili immediately comes to mind. Hearty, flavorful goodness packed in a bowl! If you’re looking for a quick meal to serve at your Super Bowl party, this recipe is for you! Again, I like to use wild game, but you can sub with regular ground beef or turkey. The great thing about dishes like this is that you can modify and customize them to your liking! Tim despises onions, so I generally leave those out haha! Like a little extra kick? Add more chili powder! YOU DO YOU!

This classic recipe is a crowd pleaser and for good reason! There’s just something about a beer-infused BBQ’d chicken that hits different. You can serve as is, or shred the chicken to make other yummy game day dishes like nachos, street tacos or buffalo dip!
I always like to know exactly where my meat comes from, so when I’m not using wild game, I love to get my meat from Butcher Box. I know their protein is humanely raised and free from unnecessary hormones, which is EXACTLY how I like my meat. So when I make this recipe, I order the chicken from them.
So we’ve got the chicken and the beer… the only ingredient missing is the Traeger Chicken Rub! I highly highly recommend this rub even if you don’t have a Traeger. It is sooooo good.

What’s the Super Bowl without snacks, am I right?! I use my Eva & Co. Maple Charcuterie Board every time I entertain. From the traditional meat & cheese charcuterie board to this fun chips & dip version, it’s a great way to serve your halftime snacks. Not to mention that tortilla chips, handmade guacamole and salsa pair perfectly with your favorite margs! 😉
Happy snackin’ y’all! Now the question is…who are you cheering for?! 🅠or ðŸ?
