My little office might as well be my tiny slice of heaven these days. I’ve always LOVED working (especially when I’m blessed and doing the things I’m obsessed with, like sharing with you, on the daily!!) and going into my office that has a Pella window into my front yard where the sun pours in is my version of bliss. The fact that it is THE most organized space in my house (and that’s saying a lot for me because I’m kind of the attention-to-detail queen hah) and everything has its own space is one thing, but the fact that I got to design every aspect of it myself with the help of the brilliant minds at California Closets means ALL the best things. In my office, I feel I can focus on being productive and not feeling busy and scattered; and I’ll neverrrr live without an office like this again!
Everything has its place, and fewer things do an obsessive organizer good than something as simple as that. Even if it looks like this area is simply for decor, it serves a few purposes: it keeps my most treasured photos in specific spots that aren’t immediately on my desk (because, HELLO, pictures of my babies on my desk make me want to abandon all work and become a full-time snuggler and princess wrangler) and it holds some of my favorite organizational hacks: BASKETS! Baskets are the key to keeping things accessible but not junky looking. I often use the basket picture here as my “outgoing” box for mail or things I need to take care of. California Closets SERIOUSLY outdid themselves when it came to helping me customize this space. Everything from designing my desk to hit just under the window (and facing it so I’m not staring at a wall all day!) to helping me maximize this teensy space, I felt heard and understood throughout the entire process.
Fun fact: this is one of the ONLY rooms in the house that isn’t “Alabaster” from Sherwin-Williams it’s a fun, calm color called “Sea Salt” and I am in loooove. I also kept the beautiful Hallmark Floors in here and they complement the wall color quite well! This office is a serious dream come true for me. It makes me feel so energized and productive–and every time I sit down to get some work done in here, it feels purposeful and not like I’m rushing through. A detailed office makes for detailed work, right?! I love this space SO much, and linked a few of the things from these photos to help you create a mini sanctuary of your own. See you soon for more blogs and home tours!!

Hi Eva,
I love seeing your stories and reading your blog! What kind of printer do you have in your office? I’ve been trying to find something small, simple and compact. Thank you!
I love it! What are the dimensions on your office? Looking to possibly build soon and I need to squeeze in a small office. ???? Thanks so much!
Where are the To Do, Markers from? So cute!!!!
Beautiful office. If we return to online distance learning in the fall I’m going to need something similar. I LOVE your chair! Can you post a link?
Thanks!
Your office is absolutely perfect! Being able to have all that natural light and pictures that can distract you up out of the way but not out of sight. I can see why this is a comfortable place. I’m inspired now to find me a small place to concentrate on my blog. ❤
Love the soft effects. Going to focus on that with my space.
