Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and boy do I ever have a turkey recipe for you (it’s so good, it even made the cover of Walter Magazine)! I love roasting my turkey on my Traeger with a blend of fragrant herbs to give it that juicy crisp texture, PLUS it also saves a ton of room in the oven for all your other tasty dishes! That’s what I call a WIN-WIN!
The trick to this recipe is roast your turkey loooow and sloooooooow to seal in all of the flavor. Once you try rosting your turkey on the grill, I promise you won’t back! Keep reading for the full recipe!
Ingredients:
8 tablespoons butter (softened) + 3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablesoons chopper herbs, such as parsley, sage, rosemary, and marjoram
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoom kosher salt
1 (12 – 14 pound) turkey, fresh or thawed
Poultry seasoning blend (like Traeger Pork & Poultry Rub)
2 cups chicken or turkey broth
Directions:
