Are ya’ll ready for a little POLYWOOD Lake House tour!?
Last February, I did a blog post on how we styled our home’s outdoor spaces with all the POLYWOOD furniture that I love so much! If you missed it, check it out here!
When it comes to furniture, I am huuuuge on quality- especially for outdoor furniture! Luckily, here in North Carolina, we can host and spend LOTS of time outdoors all year round, so we wanted furniture that could hold up throughout the seasons.
While we don’t get bad winters here in NC, we DO get lots of sun, so I’m always worried about fading. However, when it comes to POLYWOOD, their furniture is made to withstand all the elements, and they NEVER need to be sanded, painted, or stained. PLUS! Did you know that POLYWOOD furniture is made out of globally sourced recycled plastics that are landfill and ocean-bound?? That means they use in-home plastics, like milk jugs, to create beautiful and QUALITY chairs/furniture, which is another BIG POLYWOOD BONUS.
Okay, okay, now for the fun part! I’ve been dying to deck out the Lake House with POLYWOOD ever since we finished the renovations, and now that it is finally done, I CANNOT wait to show you!
Cooking, hosting, and being outdoors are all kinda my thing, not to mention the world’s best combo. I knew we needed a space on our deck to do all of the above, so the Nautical Dining Table was a musssst. We paired the table with the Modern Adirondack Dining Chairs and Modern Adirondack Swivel Chairs on both ends for some added character. I wanted the deck area to be cozy with warm tones, so I went with their gorgeous teak color and topped it all off with the Tilt Market Umbrella in the color Spa to keep those lake vibes. Our dining area looks amazing, and I can’t wait to sit around this table with the best people and the best food!
I have been loooving this new space. Give me all the coffee, wine, and good company, and this girl is set! Whether we are enjoying the view of the lake or taking a break from the sun in the afternoon, it’s the perfect place to relax. The Club Sofa and Club Settee give lots of seating for us to cozy up in, and then we combined two Club Chairs and Club Ottomans for additional seating space. We got the Long Island Side Table and the Club Side Table, which are the PERFECT heights to hold a glass of whatever I may be drinking. Since we’re always hosting and need LOTS of seating, we also added the Quattro 3-Piece Rocking Chair Set!
We chose the Harbor Slat Coffee Table to bring it all together (pssssst, it holds LOTS of cheese boards and Eva & Co. Decor). We kept the warm and cozy vibe going throughout the entire deck area and got all of the above in Teak with Weathered Tweed Cushions and Throw Pillows! While this space is perfect for a group to sit and enjoy the view, I would be lying if I said I haven’t been enjoying some peaceful ALONE time.
At the house, we have the POLYWOOD rocking chairs on the front porch, and we LOVE them, so I knew I wanted to add them to the lake house, too. We went with the same set, the Braxton 3-piece Porch Rocking Chair Set. Aaaand we even went with the same color – black. The black just looks so sharp against the white exterior!
In the summer, we spend SOO much time out here. We like to sit on the dock and relax between our lake activities. So we went with Slate Grey for this area to keep everything looking light and airy!
To kick back, relax and enjoy a glass of wine, we got the Modern 3-Piece Curveback Adirondack and paired them with the Vineyard Curveback Adirondack Ottomans! Then, to catch some rays and zzzzs, we added two of POLYWOOD’s Signature Chaises with Wheels. These are so nice to lay back or sit up in while I read, catch up on work, and watch the kids play in the sun. And speaking of sun, the wheels on these make it super easy to move to the shade when Mama needs to cool off
Whether it is just our little family or we are hosting a million and one of our friends and their kiddos, it is always nice to switch it up a bit and have lunch or dinner on the dock. It is so peaceful down there, and it is a space we love to hang out at all night, making memories. We added the POLYWOOD Farmhouse Trestle Dining Table, Modern Adirondack Dining Chairs, and Farmhouse Bench for our dock-side dining area. I can’t wait for lots of long nights, glasses of wine, good food, friends, and lots of laughs by the lake with our brand-new POLYWOOD set-up!
Soooo as you can see, we are SET at the lake, and I’m so thrilled with our new POLYWOOD additions. They truly transformed our outdoor living spaces, both at home AND at the lake. Now, where else can I squeeze in some more POLYWOOD?!
