Let’s talk smoothies! Smoothies are a go-to in my house because they are quick, easy to have on the go, and packed with nutrients!
I make this green smoothie at the beginning of the week, and then leave the blender in the fridge to enjoy for the next couple of days. The best part?! It tastes sooo sooo good.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup water
Several handfuls of fresh spinach
1 head of romaine lettuce
½ stalk of celery
1 banana
1 apple, roughly chopped
1 pear (roughly chopped)
Juice of two lemons
Optional: add your favorite protein powder (I use MTN OPS!)
DIRECTIONS
Pack an entire blender (I use a Vitamix) with spinach and 1 cup of water. Blend down until smooth.
Add all remaining ingredients to the blender.
Blend well & serve.

NOTES
This recipe makes a FULL blender. Leave the leftovers in the blender and put in the fridge. Blend again before enjoying the second time!
