Starting the renovations on our Lake House has me in majorrrr design mode. From flooring and hardware to lighting and paint, there are a million tiny details to consider (and if you’re like me, then you pay attention to EVERY SINGLE ONE of those details)! One thing that I’ve learned from our house build is that paint can make or break the look and feel of a room, so take your time and find that perfect shade. I always get asked about the paint colors we used in our modern farmhouse build, so HERE Y’ALL GO!!

I love Sherwin Williams; we used their paint for every part of our home! Keep reading for my all-time favorite colors.

Sherwin Williams Alabaster

I searched high and low for THE perfect shade of white and found it in Alabaster. Light, airy, and neutral = my favorite combo!

Used on:

• The entire exterior

• All of the interior walls (except the two rooms listed below)

• All of the white trim

Sherwin Williams Sea Salt

My little office is my sanctuary, where I get to work on everything I’m passionate about. I wanted to do something a little different in this space, so I picked out a color called Sea Salt to inspire creativity!

• My office walls

Sherwin Williams Repose Grey

The other room in the house with a different color is Boone’s room! I chose Repose Grey to complement the reclaimed wood accent wall. It keeps up the neutral & fresh theme throughout the house and is a great base for Boone to change things up when he’s older (even though he’s going to stay my baby foreveeeeer)!

• Boones room’s walls

And finally, here are the colors I used on trim, finish, and the ceiling:

• Tricorn Black in satin finish: Interior black window trim
• Eggshell: Wall Finish
• Pure White in satin finish: Trim
• Pure White in flat finish: Ceilings
