Miele Coffee Maker

Hands down, this is Tim’s single favorite element in our entire home and honestly, I’m obsessed too! Because we drink a lot of coffee, investing in a luxury coffee maker made total sense for us. The Miele delivers barista‑level coffee at home, and every single cup feels like it came straight from coffee heaven.

As a result, this is one of those splurge‑worthy home items that truly pays for itself in daily happiness. If you’re building a kitchen meant to be lived in (and loved), this one is hard to beat.

Phantom Screens

If you love outdoor living but hate bugs, Phantom Screens are a total game changer. They instantly turn our porch into a screened‑in space, which means fewer bugs and far more time actually enjoying the outdoors.

Even better, they’re fully remote‑controlled and disappear when not in use, so they’re just as sleek as they are functional. Because of that, they’ve completely changed how we use our outdoor space.

Family Cubbies (Organization Is My Love Language)

Organization truly is my love language, and these family cubbies keep my life running smoothly. Everyone has their own designated space, which means bags, coats, and shoes all have a home and best of all, clutter stays hidden behind closed doors.

As a result, our entryway feels calm, clean, and welcoming. Even better, these cubbies are just as beautiful as they are practical, proving that functional home design can still feel elevated.

Statement Lighting

Lighting can completely transform a home, which is why statement lighting was a non‑negotiable for me. Circa Lighting helped install all of our fixtures, and I’m obsessed with how each one elevates its space.

Meanwhile, the living room fixture might be my favorite. It truly brought my modern farmhouse vision to life and tied the entire room together.

Oversized Appliance Pulls for Cupboards (A Little Hack)

This is one of my favorite kitchen design hacks: oversized appliance pulls on standard cupboards. We used pulls from TopKnobs, and they make such a subtle yet luxurious statement.

Not only are they timeless and functional, but they also prove that sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest visual impact.

Living Room Built‑Ins

We added these built-ins later, and wow…what a difference they made. Once we were fully settled in, I realized the living room was missing something.

These built-in cabinets with open shelving add both storage and charm. My Aunt Cindy (an actual interior design queen) spent a few days helping me style them, and my favorite part is finally having a place to display my mama’s green dishes. It makes my heart so happy seeing that pop of green every day!

Reclaimed Wood Accents

Reclaimed wood brings instant warmth and character to a home. In our space, my favorite application is the wood wrapped around our hood vent by Appalachian Antique Hardwoods. It’s GORGEOUS and it makes a great focal point for our kitchen.

Because it balances out the more modern elements of the kitchen, it adds just the right amount of rustic charm without overpowering the design.

Simply Amish Custom Furniture

This dining room table is proof that quality furniture is always worth the investment. Our Simply Amish custom furniture fits our space perfectly and still looks brand new even after six years of kids, animals, parties, and everyday life.

Ultimately, this table has been the heart of countless holidays, birthdays, and family dinners. And somehow, it’s just as beautiful now as the day we brought it home.
