Our recent family adventure to Turks & Caicos was absolute paradise and honestly, I’m already planning our next trip back.

Thanks to Beaches Turks & Caicos (and yes… an endless supply of yummy cocktails 🍹), we had the best time as a family. So today, I’m sharing everything you need to plan your own trip, from travel tips and COVID precautions to kid-friendly activities, where to eat, and what we loved most.

A Quick Travel Tip (Learn From Me):

Pro tip: triple check your travel documents.

Because… if you accidentally forget something important, you won’t be allowed back into the U.S. 🙃

Yes, that happened to me. I ended up staying three extra days in Turks while waiting for a document to be FedEx’d. While I missed Leni and Boone like crazy, I can’t lie, the extra beach time didn’t hurt.

Traveling to Turks & Caicos

Boone’s first flight = success! He absolutely crushed it, and overall, travel day went smoother than expected. We flew into PLS Airport (Providenciales), and entry requirements included:

• Passport
• Travel insurance
• TCI authorization form

VIP Airport Tip

I highly recommend the VIP Flyer’s Club. Yes, it’s a splurge…but it made:

• Arrival incredibly fast
• Departure stress-free
• Transportation seamless

Beaches Turks & Caicos Review:

I cannot say enough good things about Beaches Turks & Caicos… they were absolutely incredible! From their outstanding customer service to their all-inclusive options and family fun activities, there’s no where else we would’ve rather stayed. We didn’t take our wallets out ONE time and loved the convenience of everything being included. Also, the Beaches employees and people who worked at the resort were SO KIND and helpful and happy!

Beaches offers a wide range of accommodation types and prices. Anything from 3+ bedroom villas with butler services to one bedroom units. There are great options for all price ranges which is something we loved seeing!

A luxury add-on (not all-inclusive) we REALLY loved was the butler service. We were given a special cell phone to call the butler and receive VIP service! It was such a luxury to have this… we didn’t have to do a thing – it was always brought to us and they were always so sweet. This service was an investment, but it was such a great thing to splurge on during our stay! I would definitely do it again.

Beach & Ocean Activities (Included)

The water here is unreal…like, crystal clear, pinch-me-is-this-real kind of beautiful.

Even better, Beaches includes tons of water activities:

• Snorkeling
• Glass-bottom boat rides
• Paddleboarding
• Kayaks
• Sailing
• Windsurfing
• Water bikes

So whether you want adventure or relaxation, there’s something for everyone.

Off-Site Activities (Extra Cost)

If you want to explore beyond the resort, there are some amazing options:

• Rent a boat for bone fishing
• Sunset yacht cruises
• Visit Iguana Island

These are great if you’re craving a little extra adventure.

Things to Do with Kids:

Beaches is SO kid and family-friendly.. there was always something to do and the kids never got bored. I loved seeing all the different families there and tons of activities for kids. These were some of our faves:

Pirates Island Waterpark: Leni was only big enough to ride down one big slide but if she was a bit taller, she could go down all of them. She had SO much fun and all the other kids seemed to love this, too.

• There were milkshakes and ice cream EVERY.WHERE. 
• So many different pools with sun shelves that the kids loved
• Beach toys and floaties at the resort shop!
• Sesame Street shows and parades – this was so much fun for them.
• Sesame Street Character Tuck-In – With Elmo where Elmo comes to your room and reads a story to the kids before bedtime. How clever is that?!

Even though we brought our own sitter, Beaches offers on-site nanny services. Which means you can actually enjoy a date night!

Restaurants & Dining

Beaches has 21 restaurants on site to choose from, and are ALL included in your stay…dangerous, right!? Our favorites were probably:

• Sapodillas (Caribbean cuisine)
• Soy (sushi)
• Neptune’s (Mediterranean seafood)

And for the kids:

• Curls ‘n Swirls (ice cream) – which were perfect for the kids.
• Mr. Mac (mac & cheese heaven)

In addition to the delicious food options, Beaches has TONS of bars everywhere, including a swim-up bar at the Caribbean Village pool that was so fun.
