One of the coolest things is how different my DMs on Instagram became when I first had Leni: they went from questions about bucks and bowhunting to predominantly questions about my favorite strollers, bottles, and baby gear galore. It is SO amazing to be considered by other mamas when they’re searching for new products, and since I get lots of messages asking similar questions about baby and toddler stuff I decided to update a FAQ I originally wrote last summer dedicated to just that!
I also wanted to add a few easy-to-shop links for you below! Here are my favorites in…
Baby gear:
Nursery essentials:
Carseats & on-the-go necessities:
I looooove getting your questions/messages, so keep them coming (both here and on my social media pages!) and stay tuned for LOTS of fun stuff and content over the next few months.

Still waiting for the potty training blog!!
Eva, if you haven’t heard of @takingcarababies, go follow her NOW on Instagram. With baby #2, he was so different from our first that though I had confidence from being a mama before him, there have been several moments along the way where I’ve felt like a first time mom all over again. Cara is so helpful with baby sleep and more! And her voice is super calming and she is so positive, like you! Give her a follow!
Pleaseeeee do a review of the Willow pump!! I am considering it and want an honest review!
I LOVED it! It was so so so so helpful when I was traveling. They recently came out with their reusable milk containers, which I didn’t get a chance to try, but loved the idea of them. It took a minute to get used to the Willow pumps but I fell in love. Highly highly recommend.
What was your favorite stretch mark prevention/ belly lotion/oil/cream?
Hi Eva! What is the baby gear rental company you used while in Hawaii? Thanks! ?
Please disregard- I found your answer in a previous comment. Thank you! ??♀️?
Eva, on a Friday would you ever cover your fashion? I love your style and would like to hear more about where to get it!
[…] Crib– This one is BIG!!!!! Y’all already know from the Baby and Toddler FAQ that I am obsessed with Milk Street Baby nursery furniture, (seriously, go check it out: […]
I highly recommend the Haakaa as an alternative for the breast pump while you’re at home with baby. I wish I had known about it with my first, but it has been a lifesaver the second time around. Our Lactation consultant recommended it in the hospital. You just stick it on the opposite side while baby nurses, and it collects milk, hands-free. It saves me a ton of time, is SO much easier to clean than the pump parts, has really increased my supply, and I have a TON of milk in the freezer already. Just a recommendation from one busy momma to another 🙂
Yes! I used that and loved it!
Hi Eva: I want to thank you very much for featuring the KiwiCo boxes. I’d not heard of them before and when I saw how much Leni loved them and listened to you speak about them and the STEAM principles, I thought about what a great gift they would be for my grandkids. Because we’re in Saskatoon, I did try to find a similar product in Canada ?? so the cost would be a bit less but there was nothing comparable so I went ahead and ordered my first subscription for my 20 month old granddaughter, Paisley. She received her first box today and LOVED it. Her mom sent me videos of her playing with it tonight and my heart just filled with love and pride as she completed the little matching shapes activity! Best birthday/Christmas gift I have ever given! I enjoy following you and your growing family. Hope we’ll meet again someday. Cousin Diane

Eva… I was just wondering if you found something for tick repellent that you would use on Leni? Some of the brands are so harsh and my almost two year old can get enough of being outside but ticks are one of my big fears with her. This is our 1st little one and what my husband and I have been using on our selves when we are out in the woods is not something I want to use on her and I think I want something different for myself. I see you use baby organics is that the bug spray you use too?
Hi Eva,
Just wondering what MTN OPS stuff you all use while you are nursing? Thanks!
Andrea
Hi Eva,
Where did you get your maternity pants/leggings? Struggling to find ones that fit me without falling down.
Thanks!
What rental company did you use for Boone’s bassinet? I am in the Raleigh area, so I’m able to do a local business.
It is an excellent post. It helps to travel with a car seats. Highly expected more post like this.
