Paint colors are always a high-demand request in my DMs, so I decided to dedicate a whole blog to my lake house paint colors just like I did with my main house!

I went with Spectrum Paint this time around, and absolutely looooooved the results! Spectrum Paint is extremely easy to work with and very friendly. Their paint is affordable and you can buy it in all different sizes – samples, regular cans, large etc. Need something customized? They will gladly color match or customize anything you can dream of! If you want one of my colors just call in and mention Eva Shockey and the name of the paint and they will create for it you!

Fresh White (SP4)

Y’all know my love for neutrals… and when it comes to walls in my house, I prefer a blank canvas that I can decorate how I like! I found THEEEE perfect white in Fresh White (SP4) – it is clean & crisp with warm undertones, so it still feels nice and homey. I love this color so much that I decided to paint both the exterior and most of the interior with it!

• Interior Walls: Empress Interior, Sheen: Eggshell

• Ceilings: Spec-Pro 3000 Interior, Sheen: Flat

• Interior Trim, Built-in Bookshelves, Shiplap on Fireplace: Coronado SuperKote 5000 Waterborne Acrylic-Alkyd, Sheen: Semi-Gloss

• Exterior: Express Exterior

Gray Otter (SP28)

There’s no denying that I’m a huge fan of white on white, but the key is to mix and match slightly different shades for a bit of depth and dimension. For the kitchen cabinets, I worked with Spectrum Paint to come up with an off-white/gray color. We came up with Gray Otter (SP28) -20% and it was the perfect mix! The slight blue/green undertones complement the stainless steel appliances and the pop of color on the bartop.

Mild Steel (SP43)

I went a little wild (for me, anyway, haha) with the paint colors downstairs. Staying true to the modern farmhouse style (but with an edge), I chose Mild Steele (SP43) for the built-in shelves and shiplap. This muted black shade creates a rustic and cozy atmosphere for movie nights at the lake!

Portsmouth +20% (SW 9644)

And finally, the last pop of color in the house can be seen on the kitchen bar top. I went with Sherwin-Williams Portsmouth +20% for this one since I couldn’t get it off my mind! The dreamy blue shade truly embodies the essence of the lake.

So there you have it! I’m definitely a simple gal when it comes to paint. Only four colors cover the entire exterior and interior of the lake house!
