Smoothie bowls are ALL the rage right now, and for good reason!! Not only are they delicious, but they can pack a nutritious punch (especially when you pack them full of the new Eva Shockey Signature supplement line) nudge, nudge, wink, wink! It’s been hard for me to make sure I’m getting the nutrients this growing bump needs since I’ve felt nauseous at the sight of some of my old favorites, (miss you, wild game and veggies!!) so these awesome add-ins are not only the easiest thing to use EVER, but are super healthy and loaded with organic protein, amino acids, and more!! The quantity of protein and greens is more than most of us are probably getting in a normal day, and since they come in a bag, you can add them to pretty much any recipe.
I actually wrote this blog while I was sitting on the beach in Hawaii when Leni and I went (don’t hate me!), eating a smoothie bowl from a local hot-spot that everyone raves about–but I can promise you that the recipe you’re about to read is WAY healthier, cheaper ($12.50 for a smoothie bowl – WHAT?!) and tastes even better. This smoothie bowl is one of my favorites and I can’t wait for y’all to try it!
- 3 handfuls of Baby Spinach
- 1 Scoop of EVA Collagen Peptides
- 1 Scoop of EVA Egg White Protein
- 1 Scoop of EVA Super Greens
- 1/4 Cup of Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Cup of Frozen Pineapple Chunks
- 1 Cup of Coconut Milk
- Agave or Honey optional (only add this if it’s not sweet enough for you)
This is the fun part and the sky is the limit here! I am personally a huge fan of fresh berries, pumpkin seeds, granola, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, sliced bananas, agave…the list goes on and on! Use as much or as little toppings as you like!
- Add all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend until smooth, scraping the sides of the blender if necessary.
- Serve into a bowl immediately and add toppings.
